A heavy-duty steel bulkhead (28", 40", 48" or 56"), may be substituted for the front rack section with all types of stake racks. Our bulkheads, with a punched-hole window for maximum visibility, are constructed from a 10 gauge skin sheet strengthened with formed corrugation and heavy reinforcement stakes and end posts.For added versatility, consider Omaha Standard's complete line of underbody hydraulic hoists -14 hoist models, scissors or Olympic twin telescopic, in capacities up to 52 tons. |
| Versatile Rack Designs Omaha Standard offers a choice of steel or wood stake racks, or solid steel stake sides. All-steel stake racks are available in 28" and 40" sizes. Heavy gauge, deep corrugation roll formed steel slats are welded to 13 gauge "hat" section, roll formed steel stakes for superior strength. Steel slats feature hemmed edges and rounded corners to assure safe handling. Sure-close spring tension rack connectors and rack hold-downs keep steel stake racks solidly in place, but allow for easy one-man removal when the need arises. For those preferring wood racks, we also offer dense grade, southern yellow pine slats with rounded corners and finished ends.Solid steel stake sides for both heavy-duty and Metro platforms are available in 28", 40" and 52" heights with two section full opening EconoDoor rear. Omaha Standard has engineered the toughest
platforms available in the industry. Heavy-duty structural steel channel throughput, with
a 6" outrail and 4" cross sills on 12" centers. Stake pockets are placed on
24" centers and sized to accomodate 2x4 stakes. The banding rail is made of 3/8"
x 2 1/2" steel and is securely welded to the outside of the stake pockets for
convenience in banding, chaining, and securing the heaviest loads. Super Duty Platforms are a full 96" wide and are available in standard lengths of 10'6" through 24'6". Other lengths may be built to order and 102" wide platforms are available. Ideal for lumberyards, contractors, utilities, oil field operations and fork lift applications involving heavy loading.
