Mechanic/Installer-Saginaw
We are currently interviewing mechanics who can install new truck equipment (snowplows, spreaders, lift axles, lift gates, dump bodies, service bodies, platforms, truck mounted cranes, and propane delivery equipment) on trucks and trailers. Qualified applicant will also have the ability to perform general repairs to trailers and truck equipment. Hydraulic experience is a big plus but not required. CDL is also a big plus but not required. Applicants with either Michigan Department of State mechanic certifications or ASE certifications in the areas of Heavy Duty Brakes, Suspensions, Electrical, and Drive train will be given preference. At a minimum we require a Michigan Department of State trainee permit. Interested applicants should have good welding skills, good knowledge of electrical wiring of trucks and trailers, good general mechanic skills, good work ethic, and a desire to work with a team of successful individuals. The job does not involve engine or transmission work. Starting hourly pay is based on experience and ability. Full benefits are paid by Scientific after 90 days of employment.
